In addition to the Schlosserturm tower on Taubertorplatz and the Faulturm tower on Neue Strasse, you will also find the Lindleinturm tower on Lindleinstrasse.
This tower was also part of the city fortifications for a long time. In 1795, a small residential building was added. By today's standards, it is almost unimaginable how large families could live here in the confines of the tower. The Lindleinturm houses a unique miniature museum, which was set up at the request of the last resident. Margarete Böttiger lived from 1897 to 1995 and spent over 60 years as a single woman in this tower. Since 1999, visitors have been able to marvel at the interior of the Lindleinturm with its original furnishings and everyday objects from the past century during a guided tour. From May to the end of September, it is open on weekends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., www.creglingen.de
From here, you can also walk past the tower on the left along the Mühlweg. This small path leads along the Herrgottsbach stream to the Kohlesmühle mill with the Fingerhutmuseum (thimble museum) and the Herrgottskirche church with its remarkable Riemenschneider altar, www.fingerhutmusuem, www.herrgottskirche.de
